Southern Ground Amphitheater
Opened in the summer of 2002 as the Villages Amphitheater, Southern Ground is situated in a neighborhood in the historic Main Street District. The 1,500-seat amphitheater with its 50-foot stage and natural-grass, tiered seating has hosted such artists as Wynona, The Temptations, Blood Sweat and Tears, and the Zac Brown Band, which plays an annual concert to benefit Zac’s Fayette County-based Camp Southern Ground for kids.
The 2017 Summer Concert lineup includes John Michael Montgomery, the Pointer Sisters, Little River Band, Don McLean and John Kay & Steppenwolf.
The Southern Ground Amphitheater is owned by the Fayetteville Downtown Development Authority and managed by the Main Street Tourism Association. To purchase concert tickets, go to SouthernGroundAmp.com.
